I would just add that different gastroenterologists have different clean-out regimens, and that these can vary with the time of day the colonoscopy is scheduled. I always schedule mine for the very first procedure of the day, and my Boston doc has me drink clears (but nothing red) starting the morning before the procedure, and then drink a lot of yaya clean-out fluid beginning at 5 pm. So it's really not particularly difficult.

I, however, couldn't possibly work after the drugs I'm given during the colonoscopy. Instead I go home and take a nice lovely warm nap. Best nap of the decade, in fact!

Glad all was normal. And yes, it will be interesting to see if they come up with something easier in ten years!Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09217934540000926776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4384692836709903146.post-26218303758760239772012-08-01T11:03:01.165-07:002012-08-01T11:03:01.165-07:00I recommend reading Dave Barry's account of hi...I recommend reading Dave Barry's account of his first colonoscopy but not after initiating your prep - the laughter will prevent you from making it to the bathroom in time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4384692836709903146.post-43327084961318215592012-07-31T22:05:22.160-07:002012-07-31T22:05:22.160-07:00How much do you think the process will change by t...How much do you think the process will change by the time you have your next scheduled appointment in 10 years?
